Pedigree or moggy
Most cats aren't a breed at all, and that's fine: we paint the cat in your photo. Tabby stripes, tuxedo markings, tortie patches and odd whiskers all stay exactly where they are.
Getting a cat to cooperate
Cats rarely pose, so use a photo you already have. The best ones are taken at their eye level, near a window, while they're settled. One clear photo of the face is enough; add up to three for the best likeness.
Eyes first
A cat's portrait lives or dies on the eyes. Daylight keeps their true colour, whether copper, green or blue, and the painting is built around them.

Questions, answered.
Will it look like my cat, not just any cat?
Yes. It's painted from your own photos, so it keeps your cat's coat pattern, eye colour and face shape. You see it free first and only pay if you order something.
My cat is black. Will the painting work?
Yes. Black cats paint beautifully if the photo is well lit, so the eyes and the sheen of the coat show. Avoid flash, which flattens the fur.
Can I get a memorial portrait of my cat?
Yes. The memorial look is quiet and gentle, and older photos usually work as long as the face is clear.
Is it painted by hand?
No. It's painted digitally from your photos, which is why it takes about a minute and is free to see. It's then printed on real products, made to order, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
